Abstract: The interaction among government, society and the media constitutes the basic elements of political communication ecology. The intensification of conservative tendency of Japanese mainstream media is due to both the media’s traditional conservative “gene” and the evolution of Japan’s domestic ecological evolution of political communication. The analysis of deep mechanism of interaction among Japan’s government, society and media from the political perspective can reveal the root of Japanese media and social conservative trend in essence, which is conducive to update and improve the cognitive strategies.
