Japan‘s Komeito Party is a religious political party that originated from the Soka Gakkai. After nearly 60 years of development, it has occupied an important position in Japanese politics and often played a key minority role in shaping the political situation. Since its establishment, the Komeito Party has adhered to a “middle path” political ideology, and its political stance has played an important supporting role in the joint governance of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito Party in Japanese politics. Exploring and understanding the“middle way”politics of the Komeito Party can be undertaken from its historical origins with the Soka Gakkai and a detailed analysis of the social attributes of the voter group. Furthermore, a deep analysis can be conducted on the political philosophy of the Komeito Party and its political practice since the 1990s. The “middleway”of the Komeito Party in political ideology is not simply a middle path or a religious reconciliation path, but a demand for political stability in modern party operations, which does not fundamentally conflict with the political direction or ideology of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party. Therefore, the Komeito Party is mostly centered on the right side of the middle in political practice, playing an important auxiliary role in the conservative politics of the Liberal Democratic Party.

DouSyu system is an administrative reform concept that has never been implemented and is highly advocated by the central government of Japan. The types of DouSyu system are mainly divided into Official DouSyu and Autonomous DouSyu , and the genealogy of its ideas has been extended from preWorld War II to contemporary times. Under the influence of local autonomy regulations under the new constitutional order of Japan after the war, the current concept of the DouSyu system has basically cut off the possibility of “official governance”. However, even for “autonomous” DouSyu, there is a characteristic logic of Tiiki Sougou Gyosei Syutai Ron hidden behind it. The existence of Japans basic autonomous system and the future of local autonomy need to be fundamentally criticized through the guidance of the country‘s constitutional norms and concepts, amidst the containment of conservative ideologies.

On July 8, 2022, Shinzo Abe, the longestserving prime minister in Japans constitutional history, was assassinated. The assailant was a middleaged who had been victimized by the emerging religious group known as the Unification Church. Abe became the first prime minister to be assassinated due to religious motivations since the Meiji Restoration. Despite Japan‘s current constitution clearly mandating the separation of religion and politics, postassassination revelations exposed various illicit dealings between influential members of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), including Abe, and the Unification Church. Since its inception, the LDP has made constitutional amendment its longstanding political objective. In pursuit of this goal, conservative factions within the LDP colluded with religious groups seeking political protection, engaging in covert transactions. These actions not only contravened the constitutional principle of separation but also inflicted psychological and financial losses on numerous families. This paper seeks to dissect the assassination of Shinzo Abe and uncover the truth regarding the LDP’s unconstitutional practices perpetrated by conservative forces.

The foster care system in Japan has began since 1948. After World War II, with the end of the project of protecting warvictimized children, it went into recession. After 1990s, influenced by the double pressures of international emphasis on childrens rights and children abuse becoming a social problem in Japan, the Japanese government established the priority principle of foster care when implementing social care for children who are in need of protection. There are four types of foster families. The main body of its implementation is composed of prefectures, childrens welfare centers and various support institutions. In recent years, although the foster care entrustment rate in Japan has increased steadily, the progress is still slow. In the process of actual implementation, there are some problems, such as low popularity, confusion with “adoption”, low intention to become foster families and insufficient foster families. Therefore, the Japanese government has proposed solutions from the aspects of reforming the system, expanding publicity and improving support.

Japan is the first country in Asia to undergo demographic transition and has the highest degree of population aging. Its demographic transition has the characteristics of a typical “East Asian model”. Rapid population aging and urbanization, as well as interregional migration, have made Japan face the problems of regional population growth and decline differentiation and the expansion of regional differences in aging. The superposition of natural and mechanical changes has continued to expand this trend, and the population migration caused by regional disparities has strengthened the mechanism of differentiation and deepened the negative effects of demographic factors on regional socioeconomic development. Therefore, Japanese government has carried out a series of institutional developments, including creating a childbirthfriendly environment, implementing local revitalization strategies, implementing measures to revitalize depopulated areas, and improving the national basic social security system. China has just entered the stage of negative population growth. The aging of the population, the decline in fertility, and the regional population growth and d ecline differentiation will become the basic characteristics of population development at this stage. It is necessary to learn from Japans experience and undertake policy preparation from the perspectives of encouraging fertility, increasing rural investment, and narrowing regional disparities.

The introduction of works is an important path for literary exchange and dialogue, as well as a primary measure of assessing the literary influence of a country. Currently, there is still room for improvement in the overall understanding and individual case excavation of the translation of Chinese classical literature into modern Japan. Thirteen translated and adapted works by Izumi Kyoka, a modern Japanese writer, involve a total of 38 texts from Chinese classical literature. Without a doubt, these translated and adapted works play a promoting role in enabling the Japanese people to read, accept, and disseminate Chinese classical literary works, thereby expanding their influence. As one of the cases of literary exchange and dialogue, a detailed examination of Izumi Kyokas translated and adapted works would undoubtedly contribute to a better understanding of the literary exchange between Japan and China during the Meiji and Taisho periods.
