Abstract: In the JapanRussia War, Japan violated the neutrality clause of the Qing Dynasty government and invaded the neutral zone. Centering on Jinzhou, Japan recruited and supported the bandits in western Liaoning to conduct emissary destruction and harass the Russian army. The activities of Western Liaoning bandits constituted the second front in Japan's war against Russia, which pinned and disturbed the military deployment of Russian army as well as ensured Japan army's supply line on sea. The western Liaoning bandits were important armed forces on Japan's victory in JapanRussia War.
