Analysison Current Situation and Characteristics of Japan’s E-commerce Development

Abstract: As the third largest market in the world, the development of Japan’s ecommerce started late but with high speed and maturity. Its development status and trend is of significance for the world market, especially for the neighboring Chinese market. The paper summarizes the current situation of Japan’s ecommerce development, analyzes its development characteristics and influence factors, finally summarizes its development experience and lessons. This paper makes the readers have a better understanding on the development of Japan’s ecommerce and get some references for China’s ecommerce development.
