Abstract: The establishment, development, military action and influence of the AntiiJapanese Amalgamated Army of the Northeast has been one of the important subjects in China’s academic circles for a long term. At the same time, this subject is also the research object of the academic circles in Japan, and the relevant research results are also rather abundant. Japanese scholars focus on this study from three aspects, the first is the organizational system and activities, the second is the impact of activities on the policy of the colonial authorities, and the third is the relation between the “mounted brigands”, “mainland ronin” and the AntiiJapanese Amalgamated Army of the Northeast. There are many differences between the Japanese scholars and domestic scholars in the way of getting historical materials and research ideas and other aspects, the viewpoint and the conclusion also need to be questioned, but the related academic research in Japan is like “the stone in other mountains”, and is worth using for reference in many aspects on the basis of criticism.
