Abstract: Since Abe took power for the second time, he has attached great importance to relations with the Middle East and frequently visited the region. Frequent visits to the Middle East show that Japan attaches great importance to the Middle East region and the close and profound relationship between Japan and the Middle East. During Abe's second cabinet, the main contents of Japan's relations with the Middle East include attention to the settlement of Middle East peace issues, political and security issues, energy cooperation, regional and global coordination and cooperation. The motivations for Japan to deepen its relations with the Middle East include ensuring energy security, avoiding geopolitical risks, demonstrating the influence of japan as a major power, demonstrating soft power such as culture and education, pursuing balanced diplomacy, and mediation. In view of Japan's own situations, the regional and international situations and other complex factors, to continue to deepen its relations with the Middle East in the future, Japan still faces many difficulties and challenges.
